Who We Are

We’re Marge Perry & David Bonom, and together, we live, breathe, dream, eat and create great food.

David, who is one of only a handful of people in the world to have earned the prestigious CCP designation (Certified Culinary Professional), began his career at Union Square Cafe: he went on to work for some of New York’s preeminent restaurants and boutique caterers (where he cooked for lots of famous folks), transitioned to the media world where he was test kitchen director, and finally went off on his own to develop recipes for leading magazines, restaurants and commercial food products. David has travelled near (New York City) and far (Albania) as a spokesperson and has created recipes for everything from a single product to magazine articles to entire books and websites.

Marge is an award-winning writer who also broadcasts, teaches and speaks about cooking, food, nutrition and travel. She is a columnist for several major magazines and newspapers, and her work has appeared regularly in publications ranging from The New York Times  to Rachael Ray Every Day to Cooking Light. She creates food content, including recipes, writing and photography, for corporations and brands and has contributed to more than 20 cookbooks. After achieving success in the corporate world at a young age, she pursued her true passion: she traded her business suits and heels for a chef’s coat, keyboard and clogs and never looked back. Marge and David live just outside of New York City in a house with a newly renovated, spectacular kitchen.
